Initiatives of the Vadym Novynskyi Charitable Foundation in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19)
Understanding the level of threat, responsible businesses have pooled their efforts to help the state in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 in the country. The Vadym Novynskyi Charitable Foundation has been at the forefront of these processes.
Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation’s experts, medical equipment, personal protective gear for healthcare personnel, and rapid Covid-19 tests for prompt detection of the disease were delivered to Ukraine in the early days. Elderly people, who are in the category of increased risk, as sad statistics show, were not left out. The Foundation’s experts together with representatives of the businesses present in the respective localities delivered and continue to deliver targeted food assistance packages to veterans and pensioners of Kyiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv cities and Kyiv region.
Trouble knows no borders, no language, and no other differences. It affects everyone, and if there is an opportunity, we should help all Ukrainians – both in Kherson, and in Chernivtsi, and in the temporarily non-government-controlled territories,” said the founder of the Foundation, People’s Deputy (MP) Vadym Novynskyi.
Provision of specialized assistance to doctors/healthcare workers and citizens of Ukraine continues.
