55 children aged 5 to 16 received sweet gifts and good emotions from a team of professional animators - "St. Nicholas" and his fairy-tale assistants.
Even the lack of electricity did not prevent the good deed, fun contests and the festive atmosphere of the holiday - the participants shared their warmth and joyful emotions with each other.
The sanatorium, which provides shelter for the children, is home to mostly children deprived of parental care, as well as displaced persons from different regions of Ukraine who previously lived in family-type homes.
"Taking care of children is one of the priority areas of our work," said Irina Danko, the Foundation's manager, "We are very happy that we were able to help these children, to give them joyful emotions and sweet gifts in such a difficult time. Their smiles and laughter are a great gift for all of us."
